Telling stories and teaching classes

I’ve got some fun stuff coming up in February!

I’sclogo-indexm telling a story next Wednesday, Februay 4th, in Brooklyn, as part of a Story Collider show. Some of you might remember that I told a story with Story Collider once before and it was a blast. This time, I’ll be talking about a run-in I had with a (literally) crazy film crew; more than that I don’t want to say just yet. It should be a lot of fun – and I’m really excited to hear the other four stories (and meet the other four storytellers) who will be part of the show that night. The show is at Littlefield, in Park Slope in Brooklyn, at 8pm on the 4th; get your tickets now before it fills up.

The Bullet Cluster is one of the most convincing demonstrations of the existence of dark matter. Click the image to learn more. I’m also teaching an online class about dark matter and dark energy at the end of February with CosmoAcademy. We’ll be talking about why we think dark matter and dark energy exist, what we know about them, and efforts to learn more about their nature. If you’re interested, sign up now – it’s a small class, there’s only a few spots left, and it’s going to be a blast.
